Who We Are
Craig Robinson - Founder
Craig is the founder and CEO of Ultimate Law Guide ("ULG") and author of Ultimate Guide to Training Contract Success. Craig is a commercial and Intellectual Property solicitor. Craig trained as a solicitor at a leading City law firm, qualifying in 2006. Craig also worked at an international City law firm and practised as a solicitor in-house at a global blue-chip company.
Craig delivers a hugely successful programme of commercial awareness skills workshops and professional development seminars to students at The College of Law, BPP Law School and universities nationwide. Craig has also spoken to students at The Law Society on behalf of the Junior Lawyers Division and The National Enterprise Academy.
As the first in his family to go to university and coming from a background with no family history of involvement in law, Craig managed to defy overwhelming odds to successfully navigate his way into the legal profession. Craig is extremely passionate about sending the elevator back down and making a genuine contribution to the drive towards increasing social mobility and widening access to the legal profession. Craig is involved in the Pathways to Law Initiative established by The College of Law in association with The Sutton Trust. Craig regularly speaks at Pathways to Law events and mentors a number of students on this successful national initiative. Craig is also involved in the College of Law's mentoring programme. Craig recently delivered a speech at the annual launch of the Diversity Access Scheme by Addleshaw Goddard in collaboration with BPP Law School. Craig has also been a mentor on the HRH The Prince of Wales's "Seeing is Believing" 14-16 year old students programme at Islington Green School run by Simmons & Simmons.
Craig has also been instrumental in launching ULG's charitable arm: AimHigher Foundation - a major training and mentoring project offering guidance to help talented students from less privileged backgrounds consider law as a career; by providing them with specialist career guidance, opportunities for introductions and work placements to a range of law firms.
