ULG team

The Ultimate Law Guide team are solicitors who trained and qualified at leading City law firms, including a magic circle law firm, and practised in-house at a global blue-chip company. Members of the UlLG team contributed to the Guide to help people who are about to go through the same journey. It is all about passing on our first-hand knowledge and personal experiences, to help aspiring solicitors stand a better chance of realising your talent, and tapping into your potential in order to fulfill your goal of getting a training contract.

When we were starting out in our legal careers, there lacked a singular, all-encompassing, practical source of guidance for students / law graduates to turn to, and help them make the transition to trainee solicitor. Having seen many of our friends and acquaintances fail to secure training contracts largely due to not being sufficiently informed or, adequately prepared for the realities of what it takes to secure a training contract. Many of our peers employed the wrong approach to planning their legal careers and, consequently missed out on the search for a training contract and were forced to abandon their dreams of becoming a solicitor.

The writers realised that the information they had learned during their own experiences would be massively beneficial to the thousands of students looking for training contracts. Ultimate Law Guide team was soon assembled, and Ultimate Guide to Training Contract Success was born to offer insights, advice and the inside track on the training contract recruitment process. From applying for vacation schemes to securing a training contract, we provide you with practical advice and sound guidance that will ensure you have the competitive edge in the competition for a training contract.
